ACP Inc. Informs Community of Successful General Elective Assembly and New Executive Leadership
The Cameroonian Community in the Philippines successfully held its General Elective Assembly on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Church located at 48 McKinley Road, Philippines. The session brought together members of the community in a structured, peaceful, and transparent environment to renew the leadership of the association.
The proceedings officially began at 2:00 PM with the registration and installation of participants, followed by the singing of the National Anthem of Cameroon, led by the Chairperson of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC). The outgoing President, Mr. Willy Foma, delivered the welcome address, setting a tone of unity and continuity. The IEC then presented the electoral process before introducing the validated candidates for the different leadership positions.
Following the presentation, the community proceeded with the official proclamation of the newly elected Executive Committee. The results confirmed Mr. God'sLove Tingwey Fon as President, Mr. Magloire Eyebe Essono as Vice President, Ms. Rosing Beckley as Secretary General, and Mr. Doris Landry Foma as Treasurer. The announcement was met with congratulations and encouragement from participants, followed by a formal message from the outgoing Executive Committee and a symbolic handover between the outgoing and incoming Presidents. The newly elected President, Mr. God'sLove Tingwey Fon, delivered his inaugural address, expressing appreciation and commitment to the community’s continued development.
The session concluded at 4:00 PM with the official closing remarks by the IEC Chairperson, followed by a group photograph and a closing refreshment session. The General Elective Assembly was held in an atmosphere of peace, transparency, and fraternity, reinforcing the values of unity and democratic participation within the Cameroonian Community in the Philippines.
