Cameroon's National Day, also known as Unity Day, is celebrated on May 20th each year. This significant public holiday commemorates the referendum held in 1972, which led to the establishment of a unitary state from a federal state, marking a key moment in our history.




10th anniversary celebration

On December 10th, 2023, the Association of Cameroonians in the Philippines celebrated a remarkable milestone: their 10th anniversary. The celebration took place at the picturesque AQUABOY RESORT, a venue that perfectly complemented the joy and significance of the occasion.

The event was a vibrant display of Cameroonian culture and camaraderie. Members and guests arrived at the beautifully decorated resort, greeted by the serene ambiance and warm hospitality that AQUABOY RESORT is known for. The festivities began with a heartfelt opening ceremony, where the national anthem was sang. And just after that, the association's president delivered a moving speech, reflecting on the journey and achievements over the past decade.

The aroma of Cameroonian cuisine wafted through the resort, with a sumptuous feast featuring classic dishes like Ndole, Okok and taro-Yellow sauce, delighting everyone present.

The 10th anniversary celebration of the Association of Cameroonians in the Philippines at AQUABOY RESORT was more than just a milestone; it was a testament to the strength of community, the preservation of cultural heritage, and the forging of lasting bonds among Cameroonians living far from home.
