Leading this initiative, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) now offers completely free interbank transfers across its digital platforms, while Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) has waived fees for the first 30 InstaPay transfers each month through its Pulz app. Landbank has also introduced free daily transfers for eligible transactions. The BSP expects many other financial institutions to follow, creating a new era of more affordable digital banking in the Philippines.
